Performance review
Received 1st place for Service Now Modern Apps Hackathon 2021.
After Hackathon, the idea got leadership’s buy-in and project has been kicked off for implementation.
Background
Performance review is the one stop shop for annual reviews, quarterly goals, continuous feedback and everything in between, it offers flexible features for HR and creates a simple employee experience. I led the ideation, strategy and design for its web app.
Problems
Performance appraisals, although vary widely used, have well-recognized shortcomings and deficiencies. Measuring performance is a difficult-task. Giving someone else an honest candid evaluation based on that measurement is a stressful experience for most evaluators.
Standard processes like performance reviews was underestimated as an overly time consuming, reactive, box-ticking exercise that does not add value to an organization. Also, the traditional performance review process is ineffective.

Make it clear who owns what, defining expectations, timelines and contributions to ensure line of sight for action and success.

To ensure your employees are in the driver's seat with tools built for their success, homepage is an overview of the progress of employees’ goals, performance review, feedbacks and recognition.
Goal management
Learn where the team is excelling, and where they might be falling off track, with the visibility provided by updates, rollups and influences.. Define expectations and timeline to make sure for the action and success. Also goal management allows people track individual goals throughout the year and enable a documented conversation between employee and manager.

Performance Review
Performance review gives employees and managers the information they need to write more holistic and accurate reviews. Review also help people streamline the workflow, their goal settings are automatically added to review and employees would write the reflection of their work based on those.
Recognition feed
Connect employees through Recognition feed from anywhere and share the love with company-wide, team based social feed. Employees also get the top recognition monthly and their recognition on the right hand side. When employees look back at what they achieved, it would be easy for them to write their performance review.
